Chapters cafe sketching

A couple months ago I went cafe sketching with some industry buds at the local Chapters. Couple go train sketches as well. We should do more of this.

Bella

Some goofy sketches of the family dog, drawn last winter after some cross country skiing on the farm. Bella likes to spend 90% of the time barking at my skis/poles, she's convinced they're out to get me and she must rescue me at once.

So this was my cover pitch for Sarah Ellenson's teenage paranormal romance Awoken. Wasn't selected but I was pleased with the image they did go with. Here I went for a very tropey girl-with-face-obscured-by-hair-holding-unrelated-object.
