Marshall on Mars

If you haven't been listening already check out The Thrilling Adventure Hour by Nerdist. It's a terrific podcast in the style of oldtime radio. These are some sketches based on "Sparks Nevada! Marshal on Mars!" which I've added some colour via photoshop.

skeletor pin ups

Why? Because Art Frahm

We were set with the task of coming up with an image for a coworker's birthday cake. It was really a mix between her undying love of skeletor and our recent discovery of the 50's pinup artist Art Frahm, who's entire schtick was women who's panties had suddenly fallen around their ankles (see link above)

This was the result.

(We went with this one.)

An old friend contacted me about doing this for her wedding. Instead of signing a guestbook guests will sign paper leaves which will be glued onto the painting, and then podged.

female knight

drawn in graphite, painted in photoshop CS5. Just for fun.

basically drew a pretty horse and wanted a rider to go with it.

Factoids:
Female knights did exist in many parts of Europe, they were called "dames" instead.
The term chivalry originally had nothing to do with being polite. It refers to horsemanship.
